Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2, 2026
This Cookie Policy applies to updog.tech and all its subdomains, including console.updog.tech. It explains what cookies and similar technologies we use and why.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage. Under EU law, all of these are treated equally.
2. Cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for the service to function. They do not require consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Property |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you logged in to the Console | Session | console.updog.tech |
| Stripe cookies | Payment processing | Varies | console.updog.tech |
| redirectUrl (sessionStorage) | Redirects you to the intended page after login | Cleared after use | console.updog.tech |
| cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie banner preference | 1 year | .updog.tech |
2.2 Analytics (optional)
These are only set after you give consent via our cookie banner.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Property |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics | Up to 2 years | updog.tech |
3. SDK storage
The Updog SDK, when embedded in a third-party application, may store a license validation grant in localStorage under the key updog_license_grant. This storage occurs on the third-party domain, not on updog.tech. The SDK's useLocalStorage option allows developers to disable this storage until their end user has given consent.
4. Managing cookies
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies, though this may affect functionality.
